Drinking Your Way to a Healthier You: Antioxidant Drinks

Antioxidants seem to be on the tip of the tongue for most people talking about healthy living these days. This is because antioxidants work to keep your body in shape by cleaning up the free-radicals, which are by-products of molecules splitting that cause damage to your DNA. Additionally, scientific research shows that antioxidants can help prevent cancer. One of the easiest ways to take advantage of the benefits of antioxidants is with what you drink.
Juice is a major part of a healthy diet for multiple reasons, including the ability to provide antioxidants. Acai juice is growing in popularity these days because of its extremely high antioxidant abilities and a taste that is a mixture of chocolate and berries. Pomegranate juice is also a great option since it is a healthy and beneficial choice for diabetics and can decrease bad cholesterol in the body in addition to being an antioxidant. The juice of goji berries is rich in minerals and amino acids, is a good antioxidant, and helps promote healthy digestion.
Even when you want to have a relaxing evening or a nice dinner out, you can boost your antioxidant levels. Sit back with a glass of red wine and you will be taking in antioxidants. Red wine can also create a healthier heart by reducing bad cholesterol and helping increase good cholesterol while decreasing dangerous blood clots.
Water is one of the most important aspects to a healthy body. Drinking enough water daily keeps your body running and functioning at its best, so why not get some antioxidants in your system while drinking your minimum of eight glasses every day. Kangen water machines produce antioxidant water that also creates an alkaline body and can super-hydrate and dexotify your body.
Tea, whether it is black, green, white, or oolong, is one of the healthiest things you can drink. Teas are considered to have one of the highest antioxidant levels out there, better than juice, fruits, and vegetables. This high level of antioxidants has shown tea to be great at helping the body defend against cancer and is often part of the plan to fight cancer once it appears. To further boost these benefits in tea, use Kangen water to brew it and make the antioxidant levels even higher. Some research has also shown tea to be beneficial in improving cardiovascular health and even weight loss.
Although coffee is not what most would call a healthy drink, it is something that most people could not live without. Well, here is at least a small bit of good news about coffee, it provides a great deal of antioxidants. So the next time you are filling your cup, you can at least know that it is not all bad.
The key to consumption of antioxidants is variety. There are many different types of antioxidants that deal with different types of free-radicals. The best way to get the best health for your body with antioxidants is to consume a variety of products with antioxidant benefits. For example: having some juice (or coffee) in the morning, teas at lunch, and a glass of red wine at dinner, while drinking antioxidizing water the whole day through.

Teas and Juices just don’t cut it.
Once upon a time, I drank many juices and teas to obtain my antioxidants. Until I read some medical studies that show that these teas and juices, while beneficial for our bodies, are actually making a minimal impact as far as antioxidizing was concerned. This was because of the low absorbancy impact these ’solids’ have on the body. That’s right, “solids”! I thought that sounded rather strange, but apparently the body treats juices and teas just like solids we eat, due to the various components of the juices and teas that the body needs to break down before utilizing. Due to this process, much of the good stuff we would get from teas and juices are completely lost.
Thus why we turned towards Kangen Water™! Water is not treated as a solid (so long as it is not mixed with anything else) and therefore begins near IMMEDIATE absorption into the body’s ecosystem. Combine that with the fact that Kangen Water™ is an extremely potent antioxidant (far more than you can get in juices and teas) and you have a powerful method of consuming antioxidants!
Most people have heard about Green Tea and its beneficial effects on the body, however, did you ever think about the water you make your green tea with? Most water, even bottled water, is a powerful OXIDANT! So how much can green tea lower the ORP (oxidation-reduction-potential) to become beneficial to our bodies?
If you gotta have your tea, at the very least, make it with the right water!
I read your blog and it was great. It was really interesting. Talking about antioxidant water. Thumbs up, hope to read more of your post. Keep it up.
what makes your system better than others? Julie
The size and quality of the electrolysis chamber. The electrolysis chamber is the heart of any ionizer. Other brands are pretty much all manufactured at the same place in Korea. They all have the same “engines”. The size of their engine is less than half the size of Enagic’s. Their argument is that smaller is better, but this is simply not always the case across the board. They use tiny mesh plates, which will perform quite similar to Enagic’s machines when brand new, but give the machine 6-12 months of usage, and it WILL show marked degradation. The mesh surface is BAD for this technology due to the water passing over the plates. Buildup occurs in nooks and crannies effectively reducing surface area. Enagic’s plates are large and SOLID.
Competitive machines attempt to make up for their lack of proper electrolysis chamber (the most expensive part of any ionizer) by putting in more robust and fancy pre-filters (cheap). They also focus on making their machines look good on the outside to compensate for the lack of quality on the inside.
