Drink it in: How to Get Enough Water Each Day

We all know that drinking water is something we should do throughout the day. Sweating, heat, exercise, and everyday tasks all have the potential to leave us thirsty, fatigued, and dehydrated. Still, even though we know to drink water, not all of us do it. We replace water with coffee or soda, we only go to the water cooler when we are unbearably thirsty, or we simply forget. To be sure you don't fall victim to too little water, try going with the flow of the following tips:
Keep water nearby
As human beings, we like convenience. If something is right in front of us we are more likely to consume it. Water is no exception to this. Keeping a bottle of water on your office desk, in your car, or on the coffee table in front of your living room sofa is a great way to remind yourself to drink. If water's within an arm's reach, you will find yourself reaching for it all day long.
Drink water first thing in the morning
Most people wake up dehydrated: you've spent the night sweating, sleeping, and losing fluid. Chances are, you haven't ingested any liquid for seven or eight hours. For this reason, drinking water first thing in the morning is essential. Keeping a bottle of water, such as super hydrating

Drink more water if you drink coffee or tea
The amount of people who start the day with coffee or tea is innumerable: plainly put, we need our caffeine. Coffee and tea are diuretics, meaning they remove more water from your system than they keep. Instead, challenge yourself to consume a bottle every half hour. This will keep you on track to staying hydrated and feeling good.
Make a goal
We make goals for everything - to start exercising, to get a promotion, to lose weight - so why not make a goal to drink more water (this, incidentally, can also help with any weight loss goals)? Drinking ample amounts of water throughout the day not only improves your immediate health, especially with
alkaline water, but it also improves your well being on a long term basis. So, set a goal each day and see if you can reach it. Dare yourself to drink 20 glasses and see how it makes you feel. You might never want to go back to dehydration again.
